Stage that home and WOW your buyers
Last week, we impressed your buyers with the front door, so much that they got out of their car. So, what do you do with them now? The following are great cheap tips for staging that have been supplied by other Realtors.
- A very simple overlooked FREE staging technique is to empty that closet and make it look nice and roomy. The ideal closet will have a significant space (two hangers worth) between the next hanger.—-Joseph F. Sangelo
- Now this one is really cool, I wish I had thought of this but I did not. To add a bed to a vacant room arrange moving boxes into the shape of a bed, and then dress it up with nice bedding. It takes about half an hour and it’s really inexpensive. —- Kria Lacher
- Position the living room furniture for conversation as well as entertainment. Potential buyers should be able to easily envision sitting in a space where they can talk without having to move a chair or turn completely around. Also, place fresh flowers in the kitchen. This brings a sense of caring and pride of ownership.—-Rana Lindborst and Troy Schmidt
- Brighten it up with lots of light. Replace the lightbulbs in the home with higher wattage bulbs. Buyers like light and the brighter lightbulbs make all the difference in the world, inexpensive and oh so easy. —-Ann Bishop
